How to use it!

Step 1 : Open the calculator and STUDY

Open the file in Excel, Google Sheets, or Numbers. Study it and get used to the language and functions. Practice practice practice.

Step 2: Understand the Layout

Review the service tiers: Bronze, Silver, Gold.
Each tier includes different service levels and transaction thresholds.

CFO Services are available as an optional add-on (always includes monthly meeting with the GoodBookKeeping CFO team).

Step 3: Enter Transaction Volume

Check with the client:

    • Bank transactions per month

    • Credit card transactions per month

      Input these into the calculator to determine the correct base service tier.

Final Step

Step 4: Confirm Entity Type

Ask the client what type of entity they are:

    • 501(c)(3) nonprofit

    • LLC

    • Other

      Select the correct entity type in the calculator.

Step 5: Confirm if They Want the Receipts Function

Ask the client if they want a designated number where they can upload receipts by text or email.

These receipts will sync automatically into their bookkeeping file.

Step 6: Review and Finalize Pricing

Based on their transaction volume, entity type, and receipt function choice, the calculator will assign them to Bronze, Silver, or Gold pricing.

Then select any additional menu items they want (e.g., payroll processing, additional reporting, outsourced CFO services).

The calculator will display the correct monthly fee

Quote the client Monthly Fee based on the calculator result.

  • Remember:

    • The onboarding fee is equal to one month of service.

    • So their first month’s payment will be double (setup fee + first month).
